You have to love running a pub and being a chef.  You get to meet a broad range of people daily and we try our best to accommodate everyone's needs.  

We wanted to share our recipes with you, just a few of our favourite ones as a thank you for your continued custom, The Bluebell means the world to us and we hope this is evident in the food and service we provide.   We also love to use local produce and thank all our wonderful suppliers who can be found here.

Being a traditional country pub in the centre of the picturesque and tranquil village of Dockenfield we offer a freshly prepared menu, made from locally sourced and seasonal ingredients, along with a wonderful selection of real ales, ciders and lagers. 

The wine list is carefully selected to be paired with our food as well as being great to enjoy on its own.
